Written by Yahusha's Student John ...
1 And when the Lamb opened the SEVENTH SEAL (7 = COMPLETE) there came to be silence in the Heaven for about half an hour (NOT A SPECIFIC MEASUREMENT - JUST REFERRING TO A SHORT TIME). 2 And I saw the seven Angels (who stand before the Throne), and they were given seven Trumpets (RAM’S HORNS READY FOR BATTLE). 3 Then another `Angel’ (YAHUSHA) came and stood at the Altar, holding a Golden Censer, and stacks of incense was given to Him, so that He could offer it up with the Prayers of the Bride on the Golden Altar which was before the Throne. 4-5 And the smoke from the incense, mixed with the Prayers of the Bride, went up before the Throne from the hand of this ‘Angel’ Who then took the Censer, filled it with fire from the Altar, and threw it onto the Earth. And there were great noises, thunders, lightnings and earthquakes (REMEMBER YAHUAH AT MT SINAI?) 6 Then the seven Angels who held the seven Trumpets prepared themselves to sound!
7 When the FIRST Angel blasted his Trumpet I saw hail and fire, mixed with blood, and they were hurled to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was scorched (THIRD = LIMITED JUDGMENT). 8 When the SECOND Angel blasted his Trumpet, I saw what looked like a great mountain burning with fire, thrown into the sea, and a of the sea became blood 9 and a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. 10 When the THIRD Angel blasted his Trumpet, a great star fell from the sky, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the fountains of water, 11 and the name of the star is called 'Wormwood'. And a third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.
WHETHER THIS IS REFERRING TO SPIRITUAL WORMWOOD OR ACTUAL LITERAL POISONING (OR BOTH) WE CAN NOW SEE WHY JOHN USES THE WORD 'WORMWOOD' TO DESCRIBE THE POISONING OF A MAJOR PORTION OF THE EARTH'S FRESH WATER, FOR IT'S A TERM THAT JEWS WERE QUITE FAMILIAR WITH AT THE TIME.
12 When the FOURTH Angel blasted his Trumpet, a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. And a third of the day did not shine, and also the night. 13 Then I looked, and I heard an eagle (VULTURE) flying through the sky, crying out with a loud voice,
“WOE, WOE, WOE TO THOSE DWELLING ON THE EARTH, WATCH OUT! BECAUSE OF WHAT’S COMING WHEN THE LAST THREE REMAINING TRUMPETS BLASTS!”
