1 “Do not judge so that you are not judged! 2 For with what judgment you put out, comes right back on you (and with the same intensity and energy). Alahim will treat you the same way you treat others. 3 “Why do you notice the small speck of dust that is in your friend’s eye, but you don’t notice the huge log of wood that is in your own? 4 Why do you say to your friend, ‘Let me take that speck of dust out of your eye’? Take a good look at yourself first! You still have that huge log of wood in your own eye. 5 You are a hypocrite! First, take the log out of your own eye. Then you’ll see clearly to help your friend remove the speck from their eye.
6 “Don’t give something that is Set-Apart and precious to dogs, or throw your pearls to swine, for they will only turn and rip you to shreds, and trample you under-foot. 7 Ask, and Alahim will give to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will open for you. 8 Yes, whoever asks will receive, whoever seeks will find, and whoever Knock will have the door opened for them. 9 Do any of you have a son? If he asked for bread, would you give him a rock? 10 Or if he asked for a fish, would you give him a snake? Of course not! 11 You people are wicked, yet you still know how to give good things to your children. So surely your Heavenly Father will give good things to those who ask Him.
12 “Treat others the way you’d want them to treat you, for this is all the Law and the Prophets in a nutshell (BEHAVIOUR). 13 Enter in through the narrow gate! Because the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many people who enter in through it. 14 Because the gate is narrow and the way is hard-pressed that leads to life, and there are very few who ever find it.
15 But beware of false teachers, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are savage wolves. 16 By their fruits (BEHAVIOUR) you will really know them. Are grapes gathered from thorn-bushes or figs from thistles? No! 17 Likewise every good tree yields good fruit , but a rotten tree yields wicked fruit. (BEHAVIOUR) 18 A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot produce good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 You will know these false people by the way they speak and behave.
21 Not everyone who calls Me ‘Master, Master’ will enter the Reign of the Heaven, only those who do what My Father in the Heaven wants. 22 And on that last day many will cry out, saying, ‘Master, Master’ we prophesied in Your Name, we cast out demons in Your Name and did many miracles and wonders.’ 23 But I will tell those people clearly, ‘Get away from Me, you disobedient, wicked people, for I never knew you.’
24 Whoever hears these teachings of mine and obeys them is like a wise man who built his house on rock. 25 It rained hard, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house. But it did not fall because it was built on rock. 26 “Whoever hears these teachings of mine and does not obey them is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 It rained hard, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house. And it fell with a loud crash.”
28 When YAHUSHA finished speaking, the people were amazed at His teaching. 29 For He did not speak like their Scribes and teachers of the Law. He taught like someone with true authority.
