1 And we still have the promise that Alahim gave those people. That promise is that we can enter His true REST. So we should be very careful that none of you fails to get that promise. 2 Yes, the Good News about it was declared to us just as it was to them. But the message they heard did not help them. They heard it but did not accept it with trusting-belief. 3 Only we who believe it, do enter that true REST. As Alahim said,

“I swore in My wrath: ‘They will never enter My REST!’” But Alahim’s work was finished from the foundation world (it's creation). 

4 Yes, somewhere in the Scriptures, He talked about the seventh day of the week, saying, “So on the seventh day Alahim rested from all His work.” 5 But in the Scripture above, Alahim said, “They will never enter My REST!” 6 So the opportunity is still there for some to enter and enjoy Alahim’s true REST. But those who first heard this Good News did not enter, because of disobedience. 7 So Alahim again designates a certain day: "TODAY!"

WE ARE TO ENTER AND REMAIN IN THIS SPIRITUAL CONSCIOUSNESS OF REST EVERY DAY - NOT JUST ONE PHYSICAL DAY OF THE WEEK, FOR ALL THE OLD TORAH SHADOWS POINT TO YAHUSHA, YES, EVEN HIS CREATION WEEK IS FULFILLED IN NEW CREATION TRANSFORMATION OF ACTIVE, LOVING OBEDIENCE TO HIS ROYAL LAWS OF LOVE - EXPRESSED IN BEHAVIOURAL WORSHIP EVERY DAY!

Alahim spoke about this concept through David a long time later, using the words we quoted before: “If you will hear Alahim’s voice today, don’t be stubborn and harden your hearts.” 8 We know that Joshua did not lead the people into the rest that Alahim promised. We know this because Alahim spoke later about another day! 9 This shows that there still remains a true REST for the people of Alahim! 10 Alahim rested after He finished His work in Creation. So everyone who enters His true REST will also cease from their own work just as Alahim did. 

AN END TO DEAD WORKS OF THE FLESH (BOTH WORLDLY AND CARNAL TORAH LAWS) !!

11 So let us try as hard as we can to enter this true REST! We must try hard so that none of us will fall away by following the same example of those who refused to obey Alahim in the wilderness (DESPITE OBSERVING THE DEAD TORAH LAWS).

12 For the Word of Alahim is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of body and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 Nothing in all the world can be hidden from Alahim. He can clearly see all things. Everything is open before Him. And to Him we must explain the way we have lived and behaved!

14 So we have a great High Priest Who has passed through the Heavens. He is YAHUSHA the Son of Alahim. So let us continue to express our trusting-belief in Him and hold fast to our confession. 15 YAHUSHA, our High Priest, can understand our weaknesses. When YAHUSHA lived on earth, He was tempted in every way. He was tempted in the same ways we are tempted, but He never sinned! 16 So with YAHUSHA as our High Priest, we can COME BOLDLY to the throne of favour, to receive compassion and kindness to help us when we need it.

THIS CONCEPT AND EXPERIENCE OF TRUE REST WAS LOST ON ANCIENT ISRAEL, BOTH THOSE IN THE WILDERNESS (RESTING ON THE WEEKLY SABBATH DAY) AND ALSO THOSE LIVING IN THE PROMISED LAND OF REST LATER. THE TRUE REST PAUL SPEAKS OF HERE IS ONLY FOUND IN THE NARROW GATE OF YAHUSHA'S FLESH AND BLOOD - A VEIN OF DELIVERANCE - A SPIRITUAL REBIRTH - A TRANSFORMATION FROM DEATH TO LIFE, TO PICK UP OUR TORTURE STAKES AND FOLLOW YAHUSHA TO THE DEATH OF OUR FLESH THROUGH HIS SPIRIT AND FIRE BAPTISM SO THAT WE CAN BE PREPARED AND MATURED AND TESTED IN THE WILDERNESS TO BE FOUND READY FOR ETERNAL LIFE, THE TRUE SEVENTH DAY (7000th YEAR) OF MILLENNIAL ETETRNAL LIFE AND REST, USHERED IN AT YAHUSHA'S SOON ARRIVAL ON THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN AS OUR ALAHIM AND BRIDEGROOM!
