Heart Responses to the Word.

Brothers and Sisters !!

MATT 13:20-21

"AND THAT SOWN ON ROCKY PLACES, THIS IS HE WHO HEARS THE WORD AND IMMEDIATELY RECEIVES IT WITH JOY, YET HE HAS NO ROOT IN HIMSELF, BUT IS SHORT LIVED, AND WHEN PRESSURE OR PERSECUTION ARISES BECAUSE OF THE WORD, IMMEDIATELY HE STUMBLES.

We should also know that we believers are not only surrounded by weeds, but by all different kinds of people with spiritual heart problems. Here in this parable we see the reality of many believers today. There are those that hear the Word of the Reign and don't understand it, because the wicked one snatches it away, what was sown in the heart. The verse above explains how what was sown on rocky places was received with joy, then came pressure and persecution because of the Word, so he is short lived and stumbles. The seed sown among the thorns lets the worries of this age and the deceit of riches choke the Word and it becomes fruitless.

All these responses to the Word among true believers, bring with it a behaviour that is not Turah. These people who have become deceived are then operating as deceivers amongst believers, causing many caustic situations, producing much hurt and disappointment. People wanting their own way and influencing others to turn against the Word (seed) creating chaos. Therefore our behaviour should be agreed on, and those stepping out of the boundaries, we should let go of if we can't convince them. We have to learn that treating someone as a tax collector is for their own future benefit if they are willing to repent and be restored.

BUT BROTHERS AND SISTERS IT IS MOST IMPORTANT TO REALISE JUST WHAT IS HAPPENING AROUND YOU SO AS NOT TO BE OVERWHELMED BY ALL THE DRAMA. IT IS THE ENEMY TRYING TO DRAW YOU OUT OF TURAH ZONE.
