WHAT IS A PASTOR ?

Pastor: For persons named Pastor, see Pastor (surname). For the Mexican dish, see Al pastor. For the bird genus, see Rosy starling. A pastor (UK: /ˈpɑːstə/; US: /ˈpæstər/) is usually an ordained leader of a Christian congregation. When used as an ecclesiastical styling or title, the term may be abbreviated to "Pr" (singular) or "Ps" (plural). A pastor also gives advice and counsel to people from the community or congregation. The word "pastor" derives from the Latin noun pastor which means "shepherd" and relates to the Latin verb pascere - "to lead to pasture, set to grazing, cause to eat".[1] The term "pastor" also relates to the role of elder within the New Testament, but is not synonymous with the biblical understanding of minister. Many Protestant churches call their ministers "pastors". Present-day usage of the word is rooted in the Biblical image of shepherding. The Hebrew Bible (or Old Testament) uses the Hebrew word רעה (roʿeh). It occurs 173 times and relates to the feeding of sheep, as in Genesis 29:7, or to the spiritual feeding of human beings, as in Jeremiah 3:15, "Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you on knowledge and understanding" (NASB).

Historical usage: Around 400 AD, Saint Augustine, a prominent Roman bishop, described a pastor's job: Disturbers are to be rebuked, the low-spirited to be encouraged, the infirm to be supported, objectors confuted, the treacherous guarded against, the unskilled taught, the lazy aroused, the contentious restrained, the haughty repressed, litigants pacified, the poor relieved, the oppressed liberated, the good approved, the evil borne with, and all are to be loved.

IT IS PRETTY PLAIN TO SEE HOW THESE MEN OF THE CLOTH HAVE CONFUSED THE WORDS OF TURAH AND INVENTED MINISTRIES THAT ARE NOT IN SCRIPTURE. ALL TO CONTROL THE PEOPLE. I MEAN THE BURDEN IS LIGHT AND THE YOKE EASY. HOW HARD CAN IT BE, ALL THIS ENDLESS TEACHING IS NOT OF TURAH BUT FROM MEN.

"Shepherd" means to lead to pasture not control the lives of the sheep.

A new believer needs the Immersion of the Set-Apart Spirit, to understand and do the Shabath. Learn how to do the annual feasts, memorise the ten commandments and start reading the Turah. This is the Shepherd's job and after the new believer has that under his belt, he is pasteurising the Word into his life and being, having a great experience with the love of Yahusha. The Shepherd is there to help only if needed. This is not like the worldly religions have portrayed the position of Pastor.

I MEAN HOW HARD CAN THIS BE TO COME TO THE PLACE WHERE YOU CAN GRAZE AND RESEARCH FOR YOURSELF. FORGIVE ME BROTHERS & SISTERS BUT THERE IS NO NEED TO MAKE THIS A HARD THING BY POSTURING RELIGIOUS TITLES IN THE MIX. WE REJECT SUCH FRIVOLITY & RELY ON THE SET-APART SPIRIT TO BE OUR COUNSEL.

LOOK AT THE LADY ABOVE BEING SPRAYED BY INSECT REPELLANT.......I MEAN TO SAY, WHAT IS THIS STUPID PASTOR PLAYING AT? THIS IS WHAT WE MEAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS.
